How lucky are we still to have a village shop, let alone Post Office. Please bear in mind the old phrase "use it, or lose it". OK, it may not be as cheap as the large supermarkets, and may not be practical to do a full weeks, or months, shopping. But please consider using it at least for 'top-up' shopping. Even if it costs another, say, £2 a month to shop here than elsewhere, you will probably use that in fuel /fares?
My only real rant in this section is the speed that cars go down the driveway to the shop car park!! Lots of kids play on the Lees etc. One day an inconsiderate motorist will hit one. That would be sad. Oh yes, and while I'm at it's amazing how many people give me evils, when I'm trying to pull out of my drive. If you cant see me, I cant see you. A bit less speed and a bit more patience perhaps :-)
