Two recent events showcase Challock at its best. Firstly the fireworks on Saturday night. Wow! What a fantastic event. Held bi-annually, the fireworks display is a free event for the village organised, primarily, by Roger Spicer. It's reputation for quality, and as a great night out seems to have spread to the wider area, and the fireworks, bonfire, band and burgers were enjoyed by several hundred people from Challock and surrounding towns and villages.
On Sunday 6th November, there was a great service at the Church to celebrate the tenure of Chris Duncan as village vicar. Many people took part in a showcase of Challock talent. A fantastic event. Good luck to Chris in his retirement, and thanks personally for family baptisms, weddings and support!!
